all is right with the world... that is as right as it can be with Justine Henin retired.
My girl Ana pulls through in two, and Nadal gives Federer the worst beating he's received in a long time.
i can't stop giggling.
June is always a fabulous month. it's the beginning of summer, but it's also the peak and height of glamour and drama during the tennis season.
While most are obsessed with the NBA finals or mid season of mlb, I sit here GLORIFYING in the fact that TWO, count 'em, TWO grand slams occur within the SAME FREAKIN MONTH.
the scrawling, slippery, gritty game of the clay contrasts so brilliantly with the proper, dignified, elite game of the grass. my two favorite tournaments of my favorite sport... OOOOAFFFFFF~~~ CLOUD 9.
the wimbledon championships edge out the french for me, if it lacks the certain "savage" excitement of Paris event... the thing is, everything looks so SO SO freakin good in WHITE! SOOOO GOOOOOOOOD. and this year's gonna be extra juicy with the Fed Express looking mighty tired (although I have a feeling he'll trump on everyone anyway...) and the ladies no. 1 spot precariously tight. I'd love to say that Ana has a great chance to win... but if Masha returns, she will with a vengeance. of course you can never EVER count out either williams sister on grass (for how long will we consider them a threat? FOREVER?) and there's always room for upsets.
OOOOOOOOAF! GLORIOUS!!!!

ok so i'm gonna probably post soon about something other than tennis soon. but maybe not so soon.
