relief.

the surgery went well praise God. the recovery will be long (a year at least for complete healing)... but provided that she exercises consistently and eats well, no other spills... everything should be ok.

it hasn't been easy. over-dramatized of a fractured leg as it may seem... there's been a lot of different factors going on... but so far I've only examples of God's grace.

the logos community that visited on sunday... i was so touched. so was my mom. and best of all, my grandmother. a round of handshakes... a hopeful hymn sung in one voice... and a rousing communal prayer was all it took to put her in the best of spirits. to have found and experienced such holy fellowship was such a blessing. one that i will never forget.

the other time we sang a hymn in one voice in a hospital room was for my grandfather right before he underwent his open-heart surgery. it was more farewell than hopeful... but the parallels of God's timing and purposeful grace strikes me as then, as is now, that hymn was one of celebration and gratitude.

it's gonna be a tough 2 weeks. i will be living in the hospital seemingly until mama lim gets back from her ill-timed (or is it amazingly timed?) trip... and i'm gonna do my best to work that Janvier energy into the newly formed limbs of Granny Park.

Cheer me on please!
