a busy week

Is always a nice way to spend your unemployed days. This week was a non stop ride filled w sunshine, food, friends, prayer, and reflection. In other words, it was perfect.

I think i am more aware now of the things i need to work on as a believer. Putting my faith into action has meant truly putting aside what i know to be true and trusting that God has something better planned. Its def not easy to NOT doubt God's promise and today i was rebuked for my disbelief as i read about sarah and Gods discourse. God promised sarah and abraham a child at their old age and instead of trusting Him, sarah laughed at the improbability of it. How embarrassing... especially when God called her out on it. And then instead of fessing up, sarah denies laughing in the first place. How dumb. God naturally calls her out and i can only imagine how embarrassed sarah felt.

See i realized that i don't want to be like that. But i so am. I doubt Gods promises all the time. Seriously. Even for this McDs audition... instead of having conviction that this was just another step in Gods will, i found myself prepping for disappointment. Fail.

God called me out on my disbelief today. And i felt ashamed.
